Mountain Biking
Guide - Controlled to Intermediate Environment

An outdoor activity, consisting of riding a man powered cycle on an all day tour, in an "off road" environment. An "off road" environment may include: bush or mountain tracks, away from paved or public roads. The activity requires the ability to plan the event and follow a correct or satisfactory course along a route. Controlled environment includes natural bush areas where there are walking/cycling pathways clearly marked and easily seen on the ground and shown on maps.
Career Pathway:
Units provide credit towards Cert III in Outdoor Recreation (SIS30410)
Course Duration:
Maximum of 6 months from commencement
Entry Requirment:
HSC (year 12) or a mature background
Note:
HLTFA301B Apply First Aid is a pre-requisite for all courses
