Canyoning
Guide Single Pitch

An outdoor activity consisting of moving down a deep narrow valley with steep sides, often with a stream running through it. In this activity, any single descent would involve distances of no greater than one rope length, or "pitch". The activity requires the ability to know where you are within the canyon, at all times and using a map and compass, to be able to find the best way to move from one location to another.

Units provide credit towards Cert III in Outdoor Recreation (SIS30410)
Course Duration:
Maximum of 6 months from commencement
Entry Requirment:
HSC (year 12) or a mature background

HLTFA301B Apply First Aid is a pre-requisite for all courses
