Canoeing
Instruct - White Water Grade 3

An outdoor activity consisting of paddling a small water craft with a single bladed paddle through water with some moderate, irregular sized waves. This activity requires a higher level of skill than "Instruct - White Water Grade 2".This activity may include day and overnight canoeing trips.The qualification requires the ability to impart knowledge and skills to enable the participants to independently participate in the activity.
Career Pathway:
Units provide credit towards Cert IV in Outdoor Recreation (SIS40310) & Diploma of Outdoor Recreation (SIS50310)
Course Duration:
Maximum of 6 months from commencement
Entry Requirment:
HSC (year 12) or a mature background
Note:
HLTFA301B Apply First Aid is a pre-requisite for all courses

SISOOPS305A Provide First Aid in a remote location (remote/wilderness first aid)
